I was born in the early seventies and schooled at a time where there were no medical conditions or labels thrown at children who were disruptive. A good old whack with the cane used to sort it all out. I think 'Naughty' was the word used to describe such behaviour back then. Now we have ADHD and other endless labels attached to youngsters because of a system that has no discipline. It is now normal practice to diagnose a condition and medicate with Amphetamine based drugs. No more threat of the cane, lets give them drugs instead, is that a good idea? My first book describes the sort of antics that people with the same character as mine may well get up to during their lifetime, some dangerous, some harmless but mostly funny. Some characters in life are just not meant to be subdued. I was one of the lucky ones, I guess i slipped through the net. Is a personality disorder a label? or just a personality that's labelled as a disorder - SGP
