In 2013 it won HONORABLE MENTION in the Reader's Favorite 'HISTORICAL FICTION' category'. In 2014 it was an IPPY award FINALIST and it was awarded the Gold Seal as a Eric Hoffer MONTAINGE MEDAL FINALIST.
