Erik Walter grew up on a farm in Illinois, the youngest of five children. He graduated with a Nursing Degree in 1980, (oh my god!), and a Bachelor of Music Education degree in 1984. He lived for many years in Missouri and Oklahoma, and has fond memories of those days. He and his husband, Eric, met 26 years ago and have been together ever since. They married when same-sex marriage became legal in 2014. He is an Author, Musician, Registered Nurse, and Pet Groomer. His hobbies include Interior Design, fine automobiles, playing the piano, and he is a devout Star Trek fan. He and his husband currently live in the big old farmhouse he grew up in.
