Regis Mushunje earned his doctorate in theology with specialisation in New Testament Exegesis from Julius Maximilians University of W?zburg in Germany. He completed his licentiate in sacred scripture at the Pontifical Biblical Institute in Rome where he spent a semester at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem studying Biblical Hebrew and Archaeology of Jerusalem.
