The Sun Sets At The River's Edge: A Mother's Reckoning (Hardcover) (ISBN-13: 9798256021405)

Twenty years ago, former Special Operations soldier Sage Delgado came home from war broken by PTSD. She made an impossible choice - walk away from her six-year-old daughter to keep her safe. Two decades later, she returns to New Orleans desperate to reconnect with the daughter she abandoned. But the reunion she has dreamed of shatters when a bullet takes Dana's life.

Consumed by grief, Sage uncovers the truth: Dana was murdered for discovering evidence of a massive trafficking and drug operation protected by corrupt law enforcement. Now a vengeful mother and trained warrior must infiltrate the criminal empire that took her daughter's life - while shielding her five-year-old granddaughter Phoenix from the same forces that killed Dana.

Set against the culture, grit, and soul of New Orleans, The Sunsets at the River's Edge is a raw, emotionally powerful debut from an author who brings authentic medical expertise, forensic psychology training, and years of victim advocacy to every page.
