The Three Sisters A 5E Halloween Witch Horror One-Shot for 2-3 Player: An Adventure of Hedge Witches, Corrupted Forests, and the Cleric in the Cauldro (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798258415721)

His horse came back alone. His holy symbol was gone. The tracks lead into the Thornwick - and something in there is still laughing.

The Three Sisters is a complete Halloween adventure for 2-3 players, designed to run in 2-3 hours with zero preparation. Three days ago, Grave Domain cleric Corvus Mourne rode north from Dunhall to investigate the necrotic energy. He promised to report back in two days. His horse returned without him. Players are hired to find him - and what they discover is a coven of three hedge-witch sisters who have spent decades corrupting the Thornwick's old protective magic into something hungry. They have Mourne. They have a cauldron. They have been waiting for this for a long time.

Players must cross the forest's corrupted edge, survive the Bramble Sister's three-stage hunt through the outer grove, choose one of three paths to the Mist Sister's stilted hut over a fog-drowned bog pool, and confront the Blood Sister in the grove's ritual heart - where Corvus Mourne floats unconscious in an iron cauldron, the scarecrow head from The Tall Man suspended on chains above him, purple energy crackling between them. Every path has consequences. Every sister has a weakness. The rescue is the payoff. What happens the morning after is the DM's choice.

What's Inside:

• A complete 4-act adventure for 2-3 players at Level 2 or 3
• A hunt mechanic in Act Two - the Bramble Sister strikes three times on the way to her hut.
• Three path choices to the Mist Sister in Act Three - the Bog Path, the Riddle Path, and the Spirit Path - each with distinct skill challenges
• Pre-combat sabotage options at the Blood Sister's grove - disrupt the ritual components before she rises to weaken her in the final fight
• 8 full stat blocks: Thorn Walker, Thorn Minion, the Bramble Sister, the Mist Sister, Giant Frog, the Blood Sister, Blood Construct, and Bone Construct
• Two endings - a Standard Ending that closes the rescue cleanly, and an Alternate Ending that sets up Book Five without requiring it
• 4 battle maps
• 4 ready-made characters built for the adventure's mix of combat, tracking, magical investigation, and healing
• 6 Opening Hooks, a What If? appendix covering 9 common player departures, and 4 Closing Hooks seeding Book Five and beyond
• An epilogue that lets the DM choose how the story closes, depending on whether they intend to continue into Book Five

Book 4 of the Shadows of Valdrus Halloween Series:
The Three Sisters stands alone as a complete rescue adventure - no other books required. But it is the fourth chapter of something that began under a pumpkin patch, descended into the crypt beneath it, walked through wheat fields in the dark, and now waits in the corrupted heart of an ancient forest. The series continues:

• Book 1: The Great Pumpkin
• Book 2: Below the Field
• Book 3: The Tall Man
• Book 4: The Three Sisters (You are here)
• Book 5: All Hallows' Tower

All five books are available individually or as the Complete Halloween Adventure Collection: Shadows of Valdrus.

• Tables that enjoy atmospheric enemy encounters, meaningful path choices, and a genuine rescue climax
• Groups who played The Tall Man and want to know what took Maren into the mist
