Afric McGlinchey is an Irish-born poet living in West Cork. Her collections are "The lucky star of hidden things" and "Ghost of the Fisher Cat", both published by Salmon Poetry; they also appear in Italian translation. SurVision Books brought out her chapbook, "Invisible Insane", in 2019. A prose poetry memoir, "Tied to the Wind", has been published in 2021 by Broken Sleep Books, and its Macedonian translation is forthcoming in 2025. According to Eiléan Ni Chuilleanáin, "The poems in this collection are shot through with light and energy.
