She completed undergraduate studies at the University of South Carolina, an MBA at Webster University and is employed as a Senior Technical Writer for the Navy. She serves on the Board of Directors for Crisis Ministries, a local non-profit homeless shelter, and volunteers with a host of organizations in her community. Yakisha and her husband founded Life Changers Enterprise, a birthing business, created to assist other people of purpose with their goals.
