The Voice of Truth to the People of England is a book written by James Harris Malmesbury in 1797. It is a political treatise that addresses the state of the nation during the late 18th century. Malmesbury was a prominent politician and diplomat who served as Britain's ambassador to France during the French Revolution. In this book, he argues that England is facing a crisis of leadership and that the country needs to adopt a more enlightened and progressive approach to governance. He criticizes the ruling class for their corruption and incompetence, and calls for a more democratic and representative system of government. Malmesbury also addresses the issue of war and argues that England should avoid military conflict whenever possible. He advocates for a policy of peace and cooperation with other nations, rather than aggression and conquest. The Voice of Truth to the People of England is a passionate and persuasive call to action, urging the people of England to take control of their own destiny and work towards a better future for all. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
