The Wars of Light and Darkness: The Messianic Kingdom Revolt of the Anointed Houses of Zadok and David - Messianism and Apocalypticism in the Late Sec (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798245582696)

This book will virtually change the lives of those who yearn for greater truth and understanding! It will impel you the reader to reassess everything you thought you knew about the Bible, about the Dead Sea Scrolls and about the First Century religio-cultural world in which Jesus the Nazarene, John the Baptist and the other Essene-fostered messianic-inspired communities, that walked the same intimate paths and perused the same more and less revered religious texts; "books" that yet circulated in individual distinctive scrolls, in those pre-Bible-Canon "last days" of the Second Temple Period!

The following volumes represent a preliminary first-draft edition of the book entitled "The Wars of Light and Darkness", the life's work of the author Reuven Efraim Schmalz. This voluminous manuscript is the achievement of more than a half century of dedicated, objective research into the antecedent foundations and time-line progression of Second Temple messianism: a religiously-motivated phenomenon that dynamically changed the course of world history from that time until this modern day. This dynamic messianic revolution, which I have called the Messianic Kingdom Revolt, reached to such heights as to spark the Great Jewish Revolt against the mighty Roman Empire. The explosive cultural conflagration that it ignited very nearly toppled that mighty empire, virtually shaking it to its very foundations. The Messianic Revolt ended with the cataclysmic destruction of the Holy City of Jerusalem and the magnificent Second Temple of Herod. The surviving remnant of Judean Jewry were once again cast from their Holy Land back into exile amongst the hostile pagan nations - there to remain for nearly 2000 years until 1948 of the Common Era. In the aftermath of this great Jewish cataclysm were born the two new world Religions of (restructured) Rabbinic Judaism and the dynamic new world-conquering Faith of Christianity - which Church ironically proceeded to adopt the ancient Israelite Scriptures to their emerging Christian Bible Canon.

In consideration of the authors diminishing health and advancing age, he has determined at this time to offer this 'unplugged' first-draft manuscript to the public in a series of seven volumes - for his undying love for humanity and the edification of truth seekers everywhere.

This is Volume 1 of 7, Prologue through Chapter 3 with an additional supplementary chapter of author's notes.

We are working diligently to prepare the remaining volumes for publication and plan to release one volume per month. This is a significant undertaking, and we truly appreciate your understanding and patience as we move forward. Thank you for your continued support.

"'The Wars of Light and Darkness' has proved to be one of the most influential books I have read regarding Biblical history. Reuven Efraim Schmalz has researched details that have escaped others and in the process truly shed light on the truth behind the scriptures. This has caused me to re-examine many beliefs I have held in the past and embrace truth. I am truly grateful for the work Schmalz has done and the concrete evidence he has presented to substantiate his claims."
- Robert Crysler

"When my friend Reuven Efraim Schmalz told me that his book could bring a revolution to the judeochristian faith, I didn't understand the reason for such a big claim, until I read it! Having been born in a Roman Catholic family and later converted to Protestantism and after that to Judaism, I was able to put all the pieces together of this amazing puzzle that changed western civilization forever. That wouldn't have been possible without my friend Reuven's unique gift of linking it all together in his amazing life's work. This book, without a doubt the missing link to bring unity and restoration to our divided and confusing western history of religion. I hope to witness this needed revolution..."
