Wendy is a little weaver bird whose three favorite things in life are flying, playing and weaving. She enjoys helping her father to build nests for her mother by collecting sticks, grass and leaves for him to use. While her father is busy working, Wendy enjoys playing hide-and-seek with her mother, even though her mother is not very good at hiding!

One day, she and her mother return from playing games to find her father looking a bit ruffled.
