She lives in Scottsdale, Az. with her husband Steve. They have two sons and two granddaughters. Betty created and co-authored the first Snug-A-Hug series, The Wonderful World Of My Wacky Grandma and the second book in the series, The Wonderful World Of My Wacky Grandpa.Karen (Kovitz) Katchen, PH.D. is a Clinical Psychologist as well as an Executive Coach in the Technology Sector. As an author, speaker and educator, she is a strong advocate for mental health in educational, health, workplace and public settings. She is a painter and stone sculptor and lives in Toronto, Canada. She and her husband have three children and are the proud grandparents of six. She co-authored and illustrated the first book in the Snug-A-Hug series, The Wonderful World Of My Wacky Grandma and the second book in the series, The Wonderful World Of My Wacky Grandpa.
