The author has been writing since she was very young. Born in Iowa and raised in California, she went off to explore her options at 19, returning to live in the U.S. 30 years later. Having lived in Israel and Australia, she gained her ground in early childhood education and then becoming a facilitator in healing. She is an herbalist and still explores the backyards of the areas around her, making medicines from the plants. Her dedication to learning about, living and teaching wholistically is evident in this book, The Year of Becoming Gracia. Most of all, she is dedicated to living in the highest vibration and hopes to inspire others to do so. Gracia raised her two daughters in Australia and, now grown, they are now living in the U.S. and are exploring their own options.
