Theater Of Education V4 (1781) (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9781104786694)

The Theater of Education V4 is a book written by Stephanie Felicite Genlis and first published in 1781. The book is part of a series that explores the author's theories on education and child-rearing. In this volume, Genlis focuses on the importance of moral education and character development in children. She argues that a child's education should be centered on cultivating virtues such as honesty, kindness, and self-discipline, rather than simply imparting knowledge and skills. The book is divided into several sections, each of which explores a different aspect of moral education, such as the importance of good examples, the role of religion, and the need for discipline. Throughout the book, Genlis draws on her own experiences as a teacher and governess, as well as the writings of other educators and philosophers. The Theater of Education V4 is a thought-provoking and insightful work that remains relevant to modern-day discussions on education and child-rearing.In Four Volumes. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
