Peter Georgas, author of Dark Blues, The Empty Canoe, The Fifth Slug, The Curse of the Big Water, and Theophanes' Virgin earned a BA in Journalism from the University of Minnesota. Following a decade in advertising, he joined the staff of the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis as the museum's first full time publicist.
