There Was a Lady (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798388104946)

Every house has a story, a history that goes beyond its shuttered windows and dusty floors. Some stories hide in the shadows like a shameful secret.

When sixteen-year-old Nick Nelson and his family move to quiet Whispering Hills, Indiana, they take up residence in a home that has sat empty for nearly forty years. As they are shunned by the residents of Whispering Hills it becomes more evident that this isn't just any old house. What starts out as seemingly explicable noises in the night soon brings midnight visits from the lady in blue.

Gradually, Nick, his cousin Mia, and his parents, Derek and Eileen, become targets of something hiding in the bowels of their house. Uncovering the layers of this ghastly mystery takes center stage as they struggle to protect themselves from something more horrifying than they could ever imagine.
