Writing has always been my passion. When I was in third grade I use to write short stories on notebook paper, staple the pages together; then number them like a book. It's safe to say I always knew I was going to be an author. Growing up in Chicago was a very competitive learning experience. I was raised properly by my grandma and mother, but I still had to learn some things out on my own in order to grow and become stronger. My mother took me out of the city at a early age to protect me from all the gangs and violence that took place all over. My transition to the suburbs wasn't enough. I was still rough around edges until I found football. I used my writing ability my junior year of high school and wrote "There's No Limit."
