They Rise: In The West (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9781919484044)

Something is wrong in the west of Ireland.

The first collapse looks like an accident. The first scream says otherwise. By the time anyone understands what's happening...

They Rise.

Within hours, the A3 virus spreads through towns, schools, hospitals and homes. Communication fails. Help doesn't come. What begins as a handful of isolated incidents becomes a fight to survive.

In Ballymote, ordinary people are caught in the first wave.

Parents. Children. Nurses. Teachers. Friends.

Some will run. Some will hide. Some will make choices they can never take back.

As the infection closes in, one truth becomes clear:

Not everyone is getting out.
