Things My Therapist Said (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798878509152)

The self-help business is a big business. People spend millions, if not more, every year on books, workbooks, seminars, gurus, life coaches, therapists and more. Why? They want to feel better, and they want to feel better as quickly as possible. Makes sense, right? The problem with that is real, lasting, healing change takes time and often a lot of work. This reality often stops people from even trying.

Within these pages, you'll discover anecdotes, quips, and relatable experiences from therapy sessions-moments that oscillate between introspection and chuckles. The intent is not to diminish the gravity of personal growth but to illuminate it with the lightness of laughter. Through this book, I aim to normalize the therapeutic journey, painting it not as a daunting undertaking but as a shared experience filled with moments of enlightenment, occasional absurdity, and, above all, the beauty of personal growth. Join me as we navigate the labyrinth of therapy, exploring the quirks, clichés, and moments of unexpected hilarity that redefine the path to self-improvement.
