Shanna Covington's writing emerged in her teens in the form of poetry. A number of years later she began writing short stories. Shanna and her husband Phillip have been married for 10 years and enjoy their quiet life in a small west Texas town with all the amenities it has to offer. They share a blended family of four girls and five grandchildren. She plans to continue doing what she is doing right now; writing, painting and playing dress up as Periwinkle Von Skittlebaum, the real live fairy godmother that encourages kids.
