Kathy D. Petrowsky, Ph.D. earned her degree in clinical psychology. She spent most of her career at a state psychiatric hospital where she provided psychological services and, later, supervised and managed staff in several clinical disciplines. She also taught psychology at a state university for five years. Dr. Petrowsky encountered many difficulties in life before coming to the realization that the difference between struggling and succeeding lies primarily in a person's ability to make sound decisions and then act on those decisions. That our results in life are due to the cumulative decisions we make throughout lives. She has spent much of her life observing people to better understand these principles.
