This is an Experiment: Poems, Musings & Wisdom Gained (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798325488023)

True to its title, This is an Experiment embraces the experimental and often chaotic nature of Life. Giving us just a taste of her artistry, Alexis invites us to peak into her mind through her lyrical and evocative style. From the ecstasy of new and somewhat taboo love (tantalizing lust?), to the anguish and confusion of heartbreak; from the titillating beauty of nature, to the complexities of truth and identity; this small collection captures a snapshot of the human experience through the eyes of a yearning and learning woman with honesty and vulnerability. Alexis fosters a sense of connection with her work, while inviting her readers to contemplate their own power, desires, traumas, sexuality, identity, beliefs and fears.
