Writer Jason Aaron's early collaboration with artist Cameron Stewart on DC/Vertigo's The Other Side was named one of the Washington Post's Best Comics of 2007. His next project, Scalped, garnered industry-wide praise and led to a guest spot on Wolverine, beginning Aaron's long association with Logan on various titles, as well as the rest of Marvel's merry mutants on books including X-Men: Schism, Wolverine & the X-Men and Amazing X-Men. With a career stretching back to First Comics, Steve Epting made his name at Marvel with an eminent fifty-issue run on Avengers during the mid-'90s. He also contributed to Factor X, part of the "Age of Apocalypse" event. After working with writers Mark Waid and Chuck Dixon on various CrossGen titles, Epting returned to Marvel to embark on his first collaboration with writer Ed Brubaker on what turned out to be one of the all-time great Captain America runs. The pair also united for the Golden Age-era miniseries The Marvels Project. Epting's work with writer Jonathan Hickman includes the much-publicized death of the Human Torch in an epic run of Fantastic Four.

Russell Dauterman is a freelance artist and character designer. In addition to Marvel's Cyclops, Dauterman has worked on titles such as Nightwing, Shadowman, Quantum + Woody and Supurbia. He has also illustrated the children's books Shape Up or Bite Me, the Nanny Reilly series and his own Terry, the Awkward Turtle. Dauterman was a costume illustrator on the films Captain America: The First Avenger and The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. Helping chronicle the adventures of Jane Foster as Thor, Goddess of Thunder, established Dauterman as one of the industry's brightest talents, a reputation set to be confirmed by his collaboration with Jason Aaron on the epic War of the Realms. Dauterman wowed fans of Marvel's mutants with his Giant-Size X-Men collaborations with Jonathan Hickman and his stunning designs for the Hellfire Gala.

Italian artist Valerio Schiti's first work for Marvel Comics was "Sacrifice," a short story appearing in 2011's Ghost Rider #1. He has since illustrated Journey into Mystery, featuring the Asgardian warrior goddess Sif, with writer Kathryn Immonen and New Avengers with Jonathan Hickman. Schiti subsequently went cosmic with Brian Michael Bendis on Guardians of the Galaxy, upgraded the Armored Avenger with Dan Slott in Tony Stark: Iron Man, drew the blockbuster event Empyre and joined Al Ewing to send Marvel's mutants into space in S.W.O.R.D.
