Through the Gates: Spiritual Lessons From Nehemiah (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9781905028788)

What if the building report in Nehemiah chapter 3 was never just about bricks and mortar? What if hidden within the methodical listing of ten rebuilt gates was a prophetic blueprint for every dimension of the Spirit-filled life?

In Through the Gates, Rev. Dr. Marcia Neveu takes readers on a transformative journey through the ten gates of Jerusalem, revealing the profound spiritual significance that lies beneath the surface of one of Scripture's most overlooked passages. Each gate - from the Sheep Gate to the Inspection Gate - represents a vital stage in the believer's walk with God: salvation, evangelism, foundational truth, humility, cleansing, the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, the Word of God, spiritual warfare, the hope of Christ's return, and personal accountability.

Written from a Classical Pentecostal perspective and rooted in the Assemblies of God tradition, this book is simultaneously devotional and doctrinal, personal and prophetic. Rev. Dr. Neveu writes as a shepherd to her flock - with warmth, conviction, and the passion of someone who has walked these gates herself. Testimony is woven throughout, grounding every theological truth in lived experience.

Each chapter includes a focused teaching, a closing prayer, study questions, reflection prompts, and a practical action step, making Through the Gates ideal for personal devotion, small group study, leadership development, and church-wide discipleship programmes.

This is not a book to be read and put down. It is an invitation to be examined, renewed, and commissioned. Gate by gate, the Holy Spirit will search you, challenge you, and send you - restored and ready for the work of the Kingdom.

Revival does not begin in the sanctuary. It begins at the gate.
