The Author: Robinson Blann is a professor of English at Trevecca Nazarene College in Nashville, TN. He has published in numerous journals on writers as diverse as Defoe and Dryden on one hand and Faulkner and O'Connor on the other. A former president of the Tennessee College English Association, he also maintains membership in philological societies of Tennessee and Mississippi. His doctorate is from Middle Tennessee State University. He received his M.A. from Emory and his B.A. from Vanderbilt.
