xDori Nolan is a mother and author with a B.A. in psychology. Her specialty is personal development and motivation, two subjects on which she has written extensively. Before receiving her B.A., Ms. Nolan worked in the administrative field, while writing articles for a variety of online publications. The birth of her daughter, Angela, and Nolan's desire to set a good example for her inspired her to enroll in college and study one of her lifelong interests-psychology, with a special interest in parent-child relationships. As a single mother, Nolan learned firsthand how demanding it can be to try to balance a career with parental responsibilities and she has spent much of her post-college career working with families, particularly single parents, acting as a resource of not only information, but motivation as well. Now it is her mission to help others like herself and based on this, has developed a successful practice centered on parenting and child development.
