Sandra L Keith is the author of six books and hundreds of magazine and newspaper articles. This is her first book since she retired from the writing world, more than twenty years ago, to care for her Parkinson's diseased husband. Sandra was an avid traveler, often taking magazine or book assignments that extended her travel to places she might not have gone otherwise. She is also an amateur photographer with many sales to her credit. She is happy to be back at her computer, sharing her love of nature and wild places. She also loves history and geology and often includes bits and pieces into her writing, believing that readers are intrigued by the back-story of the site they're seeing or reading about. She believes adding a bit of either subject into her manuscript gives the reader a more inciteful visit or reading experience. Her first book since her husband's passing, seven years ago, is also her first endeavor at what she refers to as a "sort of autobiography" of how she did or didn't handle losing her much-loved husband of fifty-three years.
