Geneva Kpangbai Diwan was born in West Africa, Liberia. She moved to the United States at the age of thirteen with family. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies with an emphasis in Child Development from the University of Rhode Island. Geneva enjoys reading and developed a love for story telling at a very young age. She currently resides in Rhode Island with her husband and works as a Head Start Teacher in Providence. In 2014, she began the journey of writing, "Time, Trial, Trust" and completed it in 2017. On her spare time she writes poetry and children's books, which she plans on publishing. Geneva loves writing and it is her desire to continue to share her stories with the world.
