The horror of addiction, the unspeakable tragedy of 9/11, Katrina, fatally flawed Middle East policies resulting in millions of Arab deaths. Ending with a plea for acceptance and forgiveness, guided by the spiritual power of knowledge, poetry, blues, science, and jazz.There are ten "line of work" poems, a collection within the collection if you will, focusing on jobs immigrants were able to get upon arriving here.
