Lyn Lee, an influential figure in the diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) space, brings a wealth of experience and a uniquely Asian perspective to her debut book, Tiny Rice Grains. She is the first Asian woman to be appointed as Shell's Global Chief DE&I Officer in 2018 and remained in position till her early retirement in December 2024. Under Lyn's leadership and vision for DEI, Shell has received numerous awards, including the Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards and EVCOM Clarion GOLD Award for its DEI engagement and communications strategy; the Brandon Hall DEI GOLD Award for Best Advance in Leadership Development for Women and Best Use of AI to Improve Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging Programmes.
