"So many wonderfully poignant poems here in Ann Calandro's new book of poetry, To Keep You in This World. Poems about getting old, poems about meals, poems about love-poems that concentrate on a mysterious "you" that oh so gradually becomes the reader, concluding with this request: "Please step inside/This poem with me."
-R. M. Ryan, author of Vaudeville in the Dark
