With a childlike faith Tommy receives a miracle healing and his life begins to change. His new friendship deepens and their lives are aligned together as they head for the future. Born in 1914 this sweet Missouri girl married in 1933. She raised a family then worked faithfully in a junior high school cafeteria for fourteen years. Her husband died in 1988. For years afterward a scripture he had quoted frequently would come to her mind. Feeling prompted by God to write a book relating to her husbands familiar verse, she relied heavily on God for help. It would be her first book. Faithfully, God brought the words like a flood and Tommy's Miracle came into being. Pushing through various difficulties, Lucy was finally able to get her book published the year she turned one hundred. She relished the idea of a book signing on her special day of century celebration.
