The Editor, Charles Humphrey Muller, was Professor and Head of the Department of English at the University of the North (now University of Limpopo) in South Africa for ten years, and Senior Lecturer in English at the University of South Africa before that. He is the author of numerous academic textbooks and literary studies published by Oxford University Press, McGraw-Hill and Macmillan, and was editor of Unisa English Studies and Communiqué, literary journals of the University of South Africa and the University of the North. In 1988 he left his academic career to move to Scotland where founded his editing and publishing business, Diadem Books. While in Scotland he wrote a number of novels, including Rapture at Sea, a novel written with his wife (under the pen-name 'Carolyn Charles') based on the return of Christ. He wrote the inspirational work Have Anything You Really Really Want, and served as editor for his wife's 'self-help' book So You Want to Buy a Small Hotel! After selling his hotel in Jedburgh in 2001, he and his wife have lived in the Great Glen of Scotland, Clashnessie in Sutherland, in Nova Scotia (Canada), in New Zealand, the Kingdom of Fife and currently live in Clackmannanshire in Central Scotland.
