This is a wonderfully detailed genealogy that follows the Tower family through eleven generations. John Tower(1) and his wife, Margaret Ibrook Tower, were married in Charlestown, MA, c1638. They moved to Hingham, MA, and had 10 children, 9 of whom lived to adulthood. This family spread throughout New England and participated in many major colonial wars and events. The genealogy is presented in an easily comprehended numerical style. Listed chronologically by generations, each family member who lived to maturity is given an individual number. (In addition to the individual number, each person's name is always followed by the number of their generation.)
