""Transactions Of The Detroit Observatory, Part 1: Determination Of The Aberration Constant From Zenith Distances Of Polaris, Measured With The Walker Meridian Circle (1904)"" is a scientific publication written by Asaph Hall Jr. The book focuses on the determination of the aberration constant, a value used in the study of astronomy and optics, from the zenith distances of Polaris. The measurements were taken using the Walker Meridian Circle, a specialized instrument used for measuring the exact positions of celestial objects. This book is part of the Transactions of the Detroit Observatory, a series of scientific publications that document the research conducted at the Detroit Observatory in Michigan, USA. Published in 1904, this book is a valuable resource for astronomers and researchers interested in the history of astronomy and scientific instrumentation. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
