Babs Olugbemi is a God-made man with interesting and an exciting upbringing. His childhood experience influenced his passion to partner with people with the aim of bringing out the best in them, despite physical and environmental challenges. As a child, he was concerned about how to fund his education and scale through life. After his secondary school education, he did a lot of menial jobs including being a bus conductor, a bricklayer, support worker, and a casual worker in Mouka Foam and Cadbury Nigeria Plc. He was inspired by the words of Dr. Christopher Kolade at the Cadbury's end of the year party in 1993 which reinforced his zeal to be educated at whatever cost. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant during his tertiary education where he founded the Great Achiever's Club to support other indigent students, promote academic excellence and professionalism. During his Youth Service, he developed the club and has mentored over 20000 members of the club in the last fourteen years. The club has further spread to three other institutions of higher learning. Babs started his career life as a banker and gained tremendous experience in various departments of banking, thereafter, he acquired four other professional qualifications including Bachelors and Masters Degrees in the United Kingdom and Nigeria. His professional exposure spans through Audit and Assurance service, Management Consulting, Product & Relationship Management, Process Improvement, Risk Management and Organizational Behaviour & Leadership Development. He is in love with start up and strategy formulation and has supported lots of friends as a growing Business Coach and Strategist. In commitment to his passion, Babs studied and got certified as a Life Coach by the Oxford College, United Kingdom. In August 2012, he got certified as a Life Coach and was admitted into the John Maxwell Team of Coaches, Teachers and Speakers worldwide at an annual conference in Florida, USA. He loves to support others with his coaching skills in empowerment, business, success, leadership and relationship. Babs gives his private time to his new initiative, African Youth Leadership and Positive Growth Initiative. PGA is a registered not-for-profit organization with a major objective of taking Strength- based and Leadership education to schools. His major objective is to activate the dreamer, the thinker and the leader in people.
