My mother Mohanie Ramsaran was born and raised in Georgetown, Guyana and my father Mahadeo Ramsaran was born and raised in Tunapuna, Trinidad. I came from a home filled with love, compassion, and strength. I am a rape victim who have overcame and currently overcoming each waking day.
