Mission Impossible Counseling (MIC) was founded by Mr. Lendell L Jones a Licensed Alcohol Drug Addiction Counselor (LADAC) for the state of New Mexico on 10/1/2005 with primary emphasis on providing exceptional substance abuse counseling, training, intervention, guidance and personal/emotional support for a wide range of participants in both Son Juan County NM and La Plata County CO. Since that time, MIC has greatly expanded their services to help individuals make constructive and sustainable life style changes that rehabilitate and motivate them to take personal responsibility for their actions and overcome maladaptive behavior patterns. Through various training and counseling programs a novel, stage play and a board game, individuals are given assistance to help them deal with DWI/DUI issues, Anger Management, Emotional and Physical Abuse, Personal and Family Relationships and Parenting Skills. Treatment consists of one on one and group counseling sessions using multiple workbooks, training classes, exercises, a therapeutic board game (High Life) invented by Lendell L Jones and extensive use of journals, logbooks and worksheets that are maintained on a daily basis by all participants in the program. MIC has served over (1500) participants from multiple ethnic, cultural and religious backgrounds since it opened in 2005 and continues to grow as more referral agencies realize the value of our approach to helping people overcome their problems when compared to similar programs in the Four Corners area.
