Jorge Luis Garc僘 Alcaraz is a full-time researcher from the Department of Industrial Engineering at the Autonomous University of Ciudad Juarez in Mexico. He received a MSc in Industrial Engineering from Colima Technological Institute (Mexico), a PhD in Industrial Engineering from Ciudad Ju疵ez Technological Institute (Mexico), a PhD in Innovation in Product Engineering and Industrial Process from the University of La Rioja (Spain), a Ph.D. in Sciences and Industrial Technologies from the Public University of Navarre (Spain), and a Postdoc in Manufacturing Process from the University of La Rioja (Spain). In addition, his main research areas are related to the multicriteria decision making process and techniques applied to lean manufacturing, production process, and supply chain modeling. He is a founding member of the Mexican Society of Operation Research as well as an active member in the Mexican Academy of Industrial Engineering. Currently, Dr. Garc僘 is a National Researcher recognized by the National Council of Science & Technology of Mexico (CONACYT) as Level II. In addition, Dr. Garc僘 is an author/coauthor in around 86 papers published in journals indexed in the Journal Citation Reports, also he has attended to more than 150 international conferences and congress around the world.

Moreover, Dr. Garc僘 has supervised more than 50 bachelor theses, 18 master theses, and 13 doctoral theses. He has 13 international patents and 1 industrial design in Mexico and Spain. Also, Dr. Garc僘 is author of several books published by international publishers such as Springer and IGI Global; all of them are related to lean manufacturing, its tools and techniques, kaizen, supply chain, and just-in-time philosophies. Arturo Realyv疽quez Vargas is a full-time professor from the Department of Industrial Engineering at Tecnolico Nacional de Mexico/Instituto Tecnolico de Tijuana in Mexico. He received a master's degree in Industrial Engineering and a PhD in Engineering Sciences from the Autonomous University of Ciudad Juarez in Mexico. Currently, he is studying a PhD in Innovation in Product Engineering and Industrial Process at the University of La Rioja (Spain). Specifically, his main research areas are related to optimization of industrial processes, lean manufacturing, and ergonomics. Also, he is an active member of the Society of Ergonomists of Mexico Civil Association (Sociedad de Ergonomistas de M騙ico, SEMAC) and the Network of Optimization of Industrial Processes (Red de Optimizaci de Procesos Industriales, ROPRIN). Currently, Dr. Realyv疽quez is a National Researcher recognized by the National Council of Science &Technology of Mexico (CONACYT) as Candidate. Dr. Realyv疽quez is an author/coauthor in around 12 papers published in journals indexed in the Journal Citation Reports, also, he has attended to international conferences and congress in Mexico as well as in the United States of America. Emigdio Z. Flores Lez is a full-time professor and researcher in Industrial Engineering department at the Instituto Tecnolico de Tijuana. He received his doctorate as Science Engineering at the Instituto Tecnolico de Tijuana in 2017, focusing in theoretical state-of-the-art techniques for numerical optimization, as well as applications using these methods. In addition, he received his master's degree in 2005 in Digital Systems from the Mexican National Polytechnic Institute. Also, he has worked as a senior design engineer for almost 8 years in Sony corporation, successfully completing several projects, having a wide experience in different field areas, such as, product design and manufacturing to shipping. In addition, he is currently a member of the postgraduate program of Industrial Engineering at the Instituto Tecnolico de Tijuana, supervising 3 master theses. Finally, he is also a member of the National Researchers System; he holds 9 international publications and 1 USA patent.
