Doc Weddle is uniquely qualified to write about wild turkeys because of how much they've been a part of his life over the last 43 seasons, as well as for the things which he's achieved in the sport, but this book (his fifth) also serves as a deep-read into the complexities and motivations of a hunter who has seen and lived through the greatest gamebird reintroduction in the history of the world. He's one of those pillars in the sport who've "been there; done that" and has the t-shirt to prove it. Heck, Doc probably screen printed the shirt, himself! So, come take a ride with this man as he reminisces about hunts past and waxes poetic about what the future might hold.
