After receiving an M.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan and being on a PhD track in Electrical Biophysics there, Prashanti de Jager moved to India in 1990 and has lived there 10 out of the last 20 years sitting at the feet of a many great Advaita Saints and Tibetan Lamas. He studies and practices various Vedic Sciences including Advaita, Yoga, Ayurveda, Vastu Shastra and Jyotisha. Pioneering Organics and Biodynamics in India he has co-founded the herb companies Ayurveda Organics, Om Organics and Organic India which won the award for the Most Socially Responsible Company in the entire Natural Products Industry as it supports over 200,000 people in India to live in sustainable organic biodynamic fair trade havens. He worked for several years on the board of the California Association of Ayurvedic Medicine and is presently on the editorial boards of 'Light on Ayurveda Journal' and the 'American Herbal Pharmacopoeia.'
