Young's experiences after his near-suicide in March 2014, along with sharing details about the loving relationship that developed between him and a mother (Mary Hanson) whose son (Brian) tragically died-by-suicide.

This book celebrates Brian's life, along with continuing his legacy after his transition to external life in February 2012. I never met Brian, but we almost shared a similar fate, as I nearly died-by-suicide due to incorrectly believing that I was being strong by struggling alone and not asking for help.

In March 2015, I wrote the article "Letter to Myself the Day Before My Near-Suicide" to share that I was happy to still be alive. A grieving mother (Mary Hanson) read my article... and an amazing relationship developed in which we saved each other.
