Twinkling is an autobiography with a difference: it is not mainly an account of the outer life of a person. Of course, confusion and the tension between competing alternatives are always at our disposal. What is always at our disposal as well, though it is harder to perceive in amongst all the confusion, is the clarity and wisdom that can inform and guide the development of our Self in what is, after all, a one-off performance.
