Kathleen Gilman never gave writing a serious thought until a college English teacher told her she had promise and encouraged her to write fiction. From an early age, she desired to be an artist, and as an adult, it was her college major. She was a partner in a small sweatshirt company, designing and crafting unique sweatshirts with her sister. Later, she owned an illustration and design business where she won awards and had her work published. Kathleen is a devout Christian, who loves to share her faith with others. She was a church Lay-leader, led small group bible studies and assisted others. Kathleen resides in the Northern California foothills with her husband. She is currently working on another Gabriel Mystery and a third book in her series: The Bryant and Boone Chronicles.
