The personage of this story, Rocco, besides surviving by his own instinct the chaotic time of the dangerous nazist take over, he also remained untouched from those same events that affected others by the intuitive intervention of his young spouse who stood up with the strength of all her love and faith to keep the marriage and him untouched from alienation.

Andrea G. Parrella was born in Brusciano (Napoli) Italy and moved to the USA in 1972. He is a Civil Engineer who served the Department of Transportation of New Jersey in the Division of Designs and Construction for thirty-one years. However, besides his technical studies his interests have always been history and literature. Early in his life he wrote several poems and various short theaters plays. This novel is his first literary work to reach publication.
