Ubergate X (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9781794343191)

When UBER came to London and the UK in 2013 they didn't come in Peace. They came to destroy London's World Famous Black Cab Trade and its highly qualified drivers. They started at No 10 Downing Street and then bullied their way through City Hall and Transport for london. Putting the livelihoods and health of thousands of Cab drivers into depression. This is the story of how two London cabbies fought back and recorded what occurred when emails of treachery were discovered between Downing Street and Transport for London. It also deals with how a brave Queens Counsel quite apart from the Cab Trade decided to seek back tax, which they had cunningly avoided. How a Chief Magistrate ensured all UBER cases were heard by her Nationwide when her husband was an Uber advisor. The Class Action by the drivers against the Billioaire Company.
