Cindy writes for collector publications, Senior News & Times for Illinois, and for local towns. She released Agricultural Treasures Guidebook and Farm Girl Adventures, a short story collection. An author of children's and adult fiction, Cindy has three grown children and two grandchildren. Carrie Steinweg is an award-winning freelance food, travel, and history writer, blogger, author, photographer, and content creator based in Northwest Indiana. A native of Chicago's south suburbs, she and her sister, Becky Clark, founded the popular Chicago Foodie Sisters blog together in 2011. She is the author of nine books (including Unique Eats and Eateries of Indiana), a travel columnist for the Northwest Indiana Times, and host of a weekly food-related radio show on WVLP 103.1 FM and podcast called Good Bytes by Chicago Foodie Sisters. During the summer season she also manages a twice-weekly farmers market.
