He is Chair of the Direct Initiative International Centre for Ukraine and a Senior Advisor at The Centre for Eastern European Democracy (CEED).
Ariana Gic is a Canadian political and legal analyst, author, and coordinator of advocacy campaigns. She has been published by Politico, EUobserver, Atlantic Council, and other outlets. Since 2022, Gic has been sanctioned by the Russian Federation for her work supporting Ukraine's defence against Russian aggression. She is Director of the Direct Initiative International Centre for Ukraine and a Senior Advisor at The Centre for Eastern European Democracy (CEED).
