At our 'new birth', we are given 'GIFTS' by God. The first gift is the Holy Spirit and through the Holy Spirit we receive 'SPIRITUAL GIFTS'. Every Christian has received at least one gift, some more. These gifts are given so we might; Worship God - in spirit and truth, hear and respond to His Voice, be identified with Him, and overcome the works of the devil. Under the 'controls' directed by the Scriptures, we are to use the 'gifts' to 'discern' the spiritual things of God, from that which is evil. God is enlisting ALL His people, not just leadership, to activate, 'the weapons of our warfare' that when done in the unity and fellowship with other Christians, can 'pull down strongholds'.
