Ursa Rising (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9781535044448)

With a hit single and a debut album climbing the Billboard charts - Ursa's star is on the rise. Then a freak accident shoots it out of the sky. Vanessa Nash is desperate to know the father she lost that night, and the secret he took with him to the grave. To graduate Columbia, she needs to turn in a short film, the perfect excuse to track down her dad's old band. After ten years, she isn't sure what she'll find - reformed bad boys or aging has-beens dying their hair to keep the dream alive, refusing to take off their sunglasses. Benny's singing voice is gone. Bud is blamed for killing every band he's drummed with since Ursa's end. And, fresh from prison, Chris only wants to rock until his lights go out, which might be any day now. The band may be finished, but the brotherhood is still breathing. When word gets out that Benny is helping Chris get back on his feet, speculation about an Ursa reunion draws lightning to their doorstep. But it is not until a mystery woman lands on them like a meteor that they are forced to revisit the phenomenon known as The Ursa Curse.
